Cryptic Vignette Airs On NXT 2.0

NXT 2.0 has been all about the new gimmicks and debuts since it’s first episode, and a video signifying an impending return has fans puzzled after it aired on tonight’s (October 12) episode.

The video saw someone walking through a dark forest with a shovel, claiming they need to ‘bury the past to start again’, before it was announced they would return at Halloween Havoc on October 26.

Speculation is already running wild, with the first name coming to the mind of many people being Elias, who had very similar videos air on Raw before they were seemingly dropped.

Ember Moon has also been teasing a change in character recently, so these could be for her.

One other name mentioned is Dakota Kai, who the voice in the video definitely sounded like. Dakota was not drafted to Raw or SmackDown in the draft, as many had suspected she would be, so this could be used to set up her return to NXT.

We will have to find out at Halloween Havoc on October 26.
