The length of Drew McIntyre’s brand new WWE contract has now been revealed courtesy of a new update.
After over a year of reports regarding Drew McIntyre’s expiring WWE deal it was finally confirmed that the Scottish Warrior had in fact re-signed with the company.
Although the news initially came from an unexpected source (The Rock’s Instagram), we have since gotten further details regarding the negotiations between WWE and McIntyre and the deal itself.
One detail not yet known however, was the length of the extension McIntyre had signed, with it only previously being reported as a “multi-year” deal.
However, courtesy of Dave Meltzer’s daily update on F4WOnline we may now have a more concrete idea of how long McIntyre will be sticking around.
According to Meltzer, McIntyre’s new deal is for three years – with 2027 now the new year of expiration.
Fightful Select had reported that McIntyre’s contract was worth “big money”, with the Scotsman said to be “happy” with the end outcome after a lot of “back and forth” in negotiations with WWE.
