Edge Seemingly References AEW’s FTR In Bizarre SmackDown Segment

Edge seemed to make a reference to AEW tag team specialists FTR in a bizarre segment on WWE SmackDown tonight.

Said segment saw Seth Rollins walk into Edge’s empty house and have a wander around, making himself at home and acting like a deranged lunatic.

After way too many minutes of that, we then saw Edge on the phone to his wife Beth Phoenix backstage, telling her not to go home and that he was calling Dave and Daniel to sort Seth out.

Dave and Daniel was seemingly an inside reference to FTR, whose real names are David (not Dax) Harwood and Daniel (not Cash) Wheeler.

Edge and FTR are close due to living in North Carolina, and they even trained with him before he returned from his retirement.
