According to PWinsider, new SmackDown Live faction ‘SAnitY’ were backstage at WWE’s Money in the Bank show. Despite their imminent debut being announced during the superstar shake-up, there has been no sign of Eric Young, Alxander Wolfe or Killian Dain.
The current suggestion is that the trio was called up in order to fill a tag team Money in the Bank ladder match, but this match looks to have been scrapped.
During an episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed the match was possibly cancelled due to visa and trademarking issues for the Authors of Pain and SAnitY respectively.
SAnitY were a mainstay in the NXT tag division during their tenure, becoming tag team champions once.
Faction member Nikki Cross failed in her attempt to defeat Shayna Baszler for the NXT women’s championship at NXT TakeOver: Chicago II. This could mean that Cross could join her faction brothers when they finally debut.
