Hangman Page Apologizes On Being The Elite

The Hangman Page storyline has been one of the best things in wrestling all year. The destruction of The Elite has been going on all year but it has come to a head in recent weeks.

On Dynamite, Hangman cost the Young Bucks a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship. The move resulted in him being kicked out of the group but it didn’t stop there. FTR revealed their true intentions of getting in Hangman’s head, a move that ended up winning them the tag titles at All Out.

Seemingly seeing the error of his ways, Hangman apologized on Being The Elite. However, the apology didn’t take. Hangman approached Brandon Cutler to deliver his apology to the Young Bucks. Here is the quote:

“Look, uh, could you just tell Matt and Nick that I’m sorry? I, um, I f***ed up and they’re right and FTR’s right, I’m a piece of s*** and I f***ed up. So, they don’t have to forgive me, I guess. If you could just tell them, I guess that’s it.”

Cutler tried to relay this message to the Young Bucks later in the episode but they refused to listen to him. Even later, the Bucks said they need to worry about themselves.
