An injured WWE star, who is seemingly nearing a comeback to the ring, has been called out by a rising SmackDown star for a potential return angle in the future.
WWE veteran R-Truth has missed the entirety of 2023 thus far after suffering a torn quad during a match with Grayson Waller on NXT in November 2022.
Now, following Truth posting a picture of himself training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, his last opponent has taken the opportunity to tease a rematch between the two, nine months later.
Following R-Truth’s Twitter update, Waller posted a GIF saying ‘See You Soon’, forcing the injured star to answer back, saying:
Ohh… you tryin to be funny, or you tryin to start somethin?
There’s not yet a definitive timeline for Truth’s return to action, however, this new update may hopefully suggest that things are progressing well in his recovery.
As well as looking to dig up his past issue with R-Truth, Waller has also recently made clear that he still has some unfinished business with another rival from his NXT days, someone who also just so happens to currently be off WWE TV – to find out who check this link here.
