John Cena has reacted to Stone Cold Steve Austin accepting Kevin Owens’ invitation for WrestleMania 38.
Earlier today, WWE shared a video featuring Austin, who told fans that he was going to open one last can of whoop-ass during WrestleMania 38 Saturday.
Austin’s announcement has got the wresting world talking. John Cena has taken to social media to note that he’s excited for everyone, tweeting:
“Never in the history of #StoneColdFriday did I think I’d see this!! Excited for @SteveAustinBSR, excited 4 the @WWE Universe and I’m excited for #WrestleMania!!!!”
Cena had previously expressed a desire to wrestle Austin, but ultimately never got the opportunity to face off against the Texas Rattlesnake.
As of writing, Austin’s WrestleMania 38 appearance is listed as a segment rather than a match, with Austin set to confront Owens on the KO Show.
