LA Knight Shares Honest Thoughts On Position In WWE WWE

LA Knight has addressed his current position in WWE, honestly naming the factors he believes have led to his success.

LA Knight has now advanced to the finals of the John Cena WWE Last Time Is Now tournament, defeating Jey Uso in their semifinal match on the December 1 edition of Raw.

Speaking on WWE Raw Recap following his victory, LA Knight noted that he wouldn’t be where he is today without the support of the fans, and “blind, damn near idiotic” faith in himself.

Stating that believing in himself is all he can really do to affect his fate, Knight said:

“If I didn’t have that, I wouldn’t be sitting here having this interview with you right now. My entire career is predicated on blind, damn near idiotic faith.

“Just believing that, hey, I’ve got something here and I’ve got to keep pushing, because plenty of times I’ve been at places where most people would’ve quit, and probably would’ve been smart to quit in certain ways.

“In all honesty, it has paid off in such amazing ways that I can’t even describe to where the best thing that I did was blindly believe in myself.

“I think that that’s really all I can do, and whether the people come along with me, or at some point they just go ‘Ahh, it’s not going to happen,’ it doesn’t matter, I can’t focus myself on that.”

Noting that he appreciates everything his fans have done for him in recent years, Knight continued:

“I appreciate every single bit of what they give me, I feed off of that stuff, as a matter of fact, I wouldn’t be in the position I am without them if I’m honest, especially with how everything blew up a couple of years ago and how it has continued on, the people made me.

“I can’t take that away from them, and I thank them to the hilt. At the same time, Let’s say at some point they’re not with me, I can’t worry about that, I’ve got to do me, I’ve got to keep doing me.”
