WWE star LA Knight has addressed his upcoming match against GUNTHER in the John Cena Last Time Is Now tournament final.

Following the December 1 edition of WWE Raw, we now know that John Cena’s final opponent will either be GUNTHER or LA Knight, with GUNTHER defeating Solo Sikoa and Knight pinning Jey Uso to advance to the final match of the tournament.

With LA Knight potentially one win away from earning the right to stand across the ring from John Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event, Knight has now commented ahead of facing GUNTHER.

Speaking on WWE Raw Recap, Knight explained why he felt “slightly offended” to hear co-host Megan Morant refer to his upcoming opponent as an unstoppable force, stating:

“You talk about the unstoppable force, this, that, whatever… I don’t want to take anything away from him, everybody sees what he does, he’s super tough. You talk about Solo Sikoa, extra tough.

“You’re talking about two guys who have hurt a lot of people and have done a lot of damage around this place. But at the same time, when I hear that, I start to get just slightly offended.

“I know you don’t mean it that way, but I hear it that way, because I’m like ‘Oh, he’s an unstoppable force? Well who’s talking like that about me?’ So with that thought, then I start thinking ‘Hold on, let’s rewind a little bit, let’s look at the history, let’s look at what’s happened, let’s look at the things I’ve done and have gone through.’

“Look, what GUNTHER has over me, the World Heavyweight Championship, I haven’t done that yet.

“You’ve got a guy who’s got more credentials than I do, and you’re talking about, not only could I go in there and beat what you call an unstoppable force, beating another former world champion like I did tonight, that’s another feather in the cap there.”
