Logan Paul has admitted that tearing a tricep is actually a “horrible” experience after previously believing WWE’s CM Punk was a “major p***y” when he suffered the same injury in 2024.
As was recently confirmed, Logan Paul is set for six months on the shelf after suffering a torn tricep during the closing stages of he and Austin Theory’s WWE World Tag Team Championships match with The Street Profits at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23.
Paul suffered the injury whilst taking a dive from Angelo Dawkins, with WWE confirming that Paul’s stablemate in The Vision Bron Breakker will be taking his place as World Tag Team Champion alongside Theory.
In what was the first episode of Impaulsive since Paul’s injury, “The Maverick” addressed being sidelined and admitted that his past perception of CM Punk’s torn tricep in 2024 was wrong after suffering the same injury himself.
Paul said:
“I tore my tricep off the bone. And a little piece of bone literally came with the tendon. It’s insane, because I’ll be honest, when CM Punk tore his tricep I just thought he was a major pussy.
“I cut a promo about it, like, ‘You tore your wittle tricep.’ And when I said it I thought ‘I hope this doesn’t ever happen to me.’ And he was just standing there and I remember thinking, ‘Dude tore his triceps, how can he be out for six months?’ How bad could it be? It’s a f**king tricep. It’s horrible.”

Punk tore his tricep during the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble, which was his first WWE match back after a near 10 year absence from the company.
He eventually returned to action around seven months later at that year’s SummerSlam – an absence timeline not too dissimilar from the one Paul faces right now.
CM Punk Looking In Incredible Shape Ahead Of WWE Return
While CM Punk has been a fairly consistent presence in WWE since recovering from his initial tricep tear setback, the “Best in the World” has been off TV since the Raw after WrestleMania 42, with no confirmation regarding when he will return to the fold.
What is apparent however, is that WWE fans will likely be seeing a very different version of Punk, with the 47-year-old looking in incredible shape in training videos floating around social media.
With there clearly being no physical injury halting Punk’s return, it appears as if the decision to keep him off WWE TV is a creative one.
While Roman Reigns had been busy taking on his cousin Jacob Fatu at Backlash and Clash in Italy, “The Samoan Werewolf” is now fighting by the side of “The OTC,” so there is now seemingly a spot open for someone new to step up and challenge for the title.
Despite not being a new opponent, Punk may feel he has some unfinished business with Reigns following their classic matchup at WrestleMania 42, in which Reigns dethroned Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.
