Location Of NXT TakeOver WarGames Revealed

Many fans have been wondering about the location of NXT TakeOver WarGames of late. The show will be different from your usual event as WarGames needs two rings and thus, more space.

Now, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has revealed that the show will take place at the Capitol Wrestling Center. He tweeted the news earlier today, noting some fans had wondered if the two rings would fit in the venue.

“Talent I’ve spoken to, as well as hopeful attendees have been told WarGames will be at the CWC this weekend. A lot of people were tweeting us and wondered if it would fit.”

This will be the second TakeOver held at the Capitol Wrestling Center. The first was NXT TakeOver 31 on October 4, 2020. However, this will be the first event to feature the double-ring setup.

A number of matches have been announced for the event. Here is the current card for the show:

  • WarGames Match – Undisputed Era vs. Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch
  • WarGames Match – Candice LeRae, Toni Storm, Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez vs. Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, TBA & TBA
  • NXT North American Championship Triple Threat Match – Leon Ruff (c) vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest
  • Strap Match – Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes
