WWE star Mia Yim referenced AEW’s Swerve Strickland while dissing Top Dolla of Hit Row.
Can you remember when Swerve Strickland was part of the WWE Hit Row faction, before the former ‘Isaiah Swerve Scott’ was let go by the company in November 2021?
Mia Yim remembers.
During a Twitter back-and-forth, ‘Michin’ brought up Swerve’s affiliation with the SmackDown faction.
Top Dolla shared a diss track on the OC which got Mia Yim’s attention, to which she replied:
“Mid-chin”, girl at least I’m out here WORKIN. Keep lookin cute on the side with your lil boys.
Yim’s tweet didn’t impress Top Dolla, who replied with a ‘thumbs down’ GIF.
Yim shared this, writing:
That’s everyone when y’all come out without Swerve.
Top Dolla then replied:
You prolly stole this tweet like he steals my ideas 🔝💵
Top Dolla, Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis and B-FAB were also released in November 2021, but were brought back under the Triple H regime in August 2022.
Swerve didn’t return with them, as he’s under contract with AEW, following his debut for the promotion in March 2022.
Both the OC and Hit Row were drafted to SmackDown in the WWE Draft.
AJ Styles notably wrestled Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions, but Rollins ultimately walked away with the gold.
An update has emerged on Rollins’ schedule moving forward, which you can read about right here.
