New Raw Champion Crowned At Money In The Bank

In a night of several shocks and surprises, perhaps the biggest was the winner of the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

Rumours going into the show suggested a Raw competitor would be picking up the victory, and most assumed it would be Natalya, but it was little Miss Bliss that would ascend the ladder to win the title of the second ever Miss Money in the Bank.

And the drama was far from over.

Another rumour that had been widely circulated that if Natalya did win the briefcase, she would cash it in on the same evening.

Again, although it was not Natalya, we did get a same night cash-in, and we do have a new Raw Women’s champion.

During what was a very good match between Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey, which proved again how talented the latter is, given it’s her first ever singles match, Alexa broke up an arm bar by hitting Rousey with the briefcase.

She then proceeded to whack both women with the briefcase several times to ensure she had the best chance of winning the belt.

After throwing Rousey over the announce table, she hit a DDT and twister bliss on Nia and 1, 2, 3.

A real swerve that no-one was expecting, and Bliss is back in the title scene just two months after losing her championship to Jax at ‘Mania.

Will this be the start of a Bliss vs Rousey feud? It would only make sense.
