Following on from Karrion Kross and Bronson Reed last week, more NXT stars are set to work tonight’s WWE Main Event tapings before Raw.
Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett were both at SmackDown this past Friday and worked a dark match against each other, and according to PWInsider, the word backstage was they’ll be working Main Event tonight.
Kross beat Shelton Benjamin last week but notably didn’t have Scarlett with him, and he had a very stripped-back entrance that was pretty depressing to watch.
In the other match, Reed picked up a win over Drew Gulak. Kross and Reed had already worked with Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode respectively at the SmackDown prior.
Both men are now reportedly on WWE’s list to be called up to the main roster, which will likely happen in August after SummerSlam during the WWE Draft.
If Scarlett does work a match tonight, it’ll be her first official match in WWE since she signed in 2019. Blackheart has of course been a regular wrestler and is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion with Ember Moon.
