One of the main talking points regarding SmackDown Live moving to FOX has been who will be commentating on the blue show moving forward.
The report is that it will be Michael Cole and Corey Graves, which left the question, who will be replacing them on Raw?
Well, the initial report was that Vic Joseph of 205 Live and NXT UK would be lead commentator on Monday nights, and that is what is still being reported, but there is a big shock apparently lined up for his co-commentator.
Anyone who has watched 205 Live over the past couple of weeks will have seen that NXT star Dio Maddin has been commentating, and this is apparently because WWE is planning on putting him on Raw alongside Joseph.
The report comes from WrestleVotes, which has an excellent record of reporting backstage WWE news.
Starting very shortly, Monday Night Raw is going to sound A LOT different.
I’ve been told that the plan as of now for RAW’s announce team is:
Vic Joseph and…… Dio Maddin.

This would match up to the report that WWE is planning a return to the two-man commentary booth, and would mean that Renee Young’s only role going forward will be as the host of FS1’s new backstage WWE show.
What do you think of this news? Is Dio Maddin a good fit for Raw?
