Ric Flair Reveals Who He Thinks Is ‘The Real Tribal Chief’ WWE

Despite Roman Reigns recently ensuring that he remains the head of the Bloodline with his win over Jey Uso at SummerSlam 2023, 16-time world champion Ric Flair has perhaps disavowed this fact by posing for a photo with someone he believes is ‘the real Tribal Chief’.

Posting to Twitter, the two-time Hall of Famer uploaded a picture of a picture of himself embracing former WWE star Haku, who competed for the company in the late 80s, as well as in WCW alongside Flair throughout the mid-to-late 90s.

Flair acknowledged his friend Haku as the real Tribal Chief while also suggesting that even Roman Reigns would agree with that statement.

Flair tweeted:

The REAL Tribal Chief!

I Don’t Think @WWERomanReigns Will Argue With That! WOOOOO!

Despite being closely associated to the Anoa’i family, Haku is not a blood relative to the likes of Roman, The Usos and Solo Sikoa.

While Haku isn’t a relative of The Bloodline, he – along with his sons, NJPW stars Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Hikuleo – have often been associated with the Bloodline, with Haku being perhaps best known for his late 80s tag team run in WWE as one half of The Islanders along with Tama (real name Sam Fatu) who is the twin brother of Rikishi.

While Flair may believe Haku is the true head of the table, the on-screen Bloodline saga has seemingly hit a major point of uncertainty, as following the betrayal at the hands of his brother Jimmy, Jey Uso proclaimed that he was departing WWE.
