Ricky Starks Responds To Claim That LA Knight Is A ‘Better Rock’ Than Him

AEW star Ricky Starks has responded to comparisons to WWE’s LA Knight, with both stars previously compared to The Rock.

Throughout Starks’ AEW career, fans have pointed out similarities between the rising star and the Great One.

Another competitor who is often compared to Dwayne Johnson is LA Knight, who has been winning fans over in recent months with his natural charisma.

On Twitter, one user referenced these comparisons, arguing that LA Knight is a ‘better Rock’ than Starks, in the comments section of one of Starks’ post.

Starks actually replied to this claim, writing:

Nice thank you

Starks has previously noted that he finds it irritating when fans accuse him of actively copying The Rock and discredit his originality, noting that he’s never actively tried to imitate the eight-time WWE Champion.

The rising AEW star was most recently in action on the June 7 edition of Dynamite, losing to Jay White in singles action after interference from the Gunns.

Over in WWE, many fans have called for LA Knight to win the Money in the Bank ladder match at the July 1 premium live event, after Knight won a qualifying match on the June 2 SmackDown episode.
