Several Matches Announced For AEW Dynamite

This Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite is beginning to take shape as the promotion has announced several new matches for the show.

One of the newly announced matches is Sammy Guevara of the Inner Circle vs. Suge D. Last week, Chris Jericho insulted Suge D – who he referred to as Pineapple Pete – throughout the show for his antics at ringside.

Also now confirmed is Kip Sabian – who is one of the men involved in the TNT Championship tournament – taking on Chuck Taylor of Best Friends. It would make a lot of sense for Sabian to win here to pick up some momentum ahead of his quarter-final match in that tournament against Dustin Rhodes.

Speaking of the tournament, Shawn Spears became the first man to bow out after he lost the first quarter-final to Cody last week. However, he returns to action on this week’s show, although his opponent hasn’t been revealed.

The same can be said for Dr Britt Baker DMD, who will be in action after losing to Hikaru Shida on last week’s show.

Previously confirmed for the show were Jon Moxley defending his World Championship against Jake Hager in a No Holds Barred match, and Lance Archer vs. Colt Cabana in a TNT Championship quarter-final.
