The Miz Made WWE Star Cry Backstage After Praising Their Performance

A WWE star has revealed that they once cried after receiving high praise from The Miz after delivering a promo.

Speaking with Maria Menounos, Sonya Deville revealed that tje two-time WWE grand-slam winner had particularly kind words for her after witnessing her oratory skills.

Deville said:

“I went out there and I never felt so confident, and I delivered it and I remember I walked off stage and Miz was standing backstage, and he was like, ‘That’s one of the best promos I ever heard’.

“I started crying because coming from him, someone who’s great on the mic, amazing, been around for so long, I was like, ‘wow’.”

Deville’s character work alongside current tag partner Chelsea Green has been the subject of praise from many fans despite not yet achieving great success in the ring.

Despite this, there may be more opportunities to come as WWE Women’s Tag Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Bazsler take on NXT Women’s Tag Champions Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre in a title unification match on tonight’s June 23 Smackdown.
