Triple H Compares Top NXT Star To Brock Lesnar

Triple H had a very violent rivalry with Brock Lesnar in 2012 and 2013. Their matches at SummerSlam, WrestleMania 29 and Extreme Rules 2013 were all violent affairs, meaning ‘The Game’ is likely one of the most qualified men to make comparisons between Lesnar and other stars.

Currently, one star he has compared Lesnar to is NXT UK Champion WALTER. Obviously they are both big and violent but Triple H’s comparison goes beyond that. Here is the quote from his interview on WWE’s The Bump, courtesy of Wrestling News:

“It is tough to bet against WALTER. Anyone who has watched him over the last few years, anyone who has recently watched him against Ilja [Dragunov], one of the most physically imposing, physically dominating performers out there. There’s no wasted movement, he’s not flashy, he doesn’t care about how it looks, he’s just effective. That said, you’ve seen it in the past with other talent like Brock Lesnar.”

To date, Triple H and WALTER have never gone toe-to-toe in the ring, nor have WALTER and Lesnar. However, both of those matches would likely be considered dream matches by many WWE fans.
