Jinder Mahal’s return to television saw him flanked by Veer and Shanky, his two new heavies. Veer was previously introduced to fans as Rinku Singh of NXT’s Indus Sher.
The faction also included Saurav Gurjar who did not make his way to television with his former partner. It was recently reported by Fightful Select that this decision was made because Gurjar was deemed not ready for television.
While the initial report is still accurate, more information has since become available. Fightful Select (subscription required) has since reported that Gurjar is also currently at home in India. The report states that he has been there for some time and they have heard no plans of bringing him to television.
Indus Sher did compete as a team at WWE’s Superstar Spectacle event in January of this year. They teamed with Drew McIntyre at the event to defeat Jinder Mahal and the Bollywood Boys.
