Ever since she stepped foot onto a WWE stage at the Royal Rumble in January, Ronda Rousey has been the name on everyone’s lips. At Elimination Chamber she put Triple H through a table, heralding the mixed tag team match at WrestleMania 34 where she will team with Kurt Angle to battle Stephanie McMahon and ‘the Game’.

WrestleMania comes with its fair share of publicity, however, and all WWE stars are required to do press junkets in the weeks and days leading up to the event. That was Ronda Rousey’s job when she was sent to ESPN for a brace of interviews to promote her involvement and speak on her illustrious MMA career.

What follows is a wonderfully awkward confrontation between Rousey and two hosts. In the first, she’s clearly sarcastic and makes everyone feel uncomfortable by turning a purely simple question into something baffling. The second shows a disinterested Ronda, who, helped along by the fumbling presenter talking himself into a corner, is wonderfully condescending in roughly eight words.
