WWE Hall of Famer and former multi-time WWE World Champion The Undertaker believes R-Truth needs his own show.
Following his return to the company at WWE Survivor Series 2023, R-Truth has been a career resurgence thanks to his brilliant comedic timing and connection with the fans.
Now truly appreciated as a legend of the business, Truth has done it all from becoming the first African American NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion to winning the WWE United States Championship.
At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night One, Awesome Truth won the Raw Tag Team Championships in a Six-Pack Ladder Match. WWE later announced that Awesome Truth would be recognized as the World Tag Team Champions with brand new title belts.
Speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker discussed the comedy work of R-Truth. Bringing up WWE stars who could have their own TV show, Taker said:
“How about R-Truth? How entertaining is he? He needs his own show. I don’t watch much regular TV but they need an R-Truth variety show or R-Truth comedy. He is so funny.”
Awesome Truth defeated DIY to retain the World Tag Team Championships on the April 24 episode of Raw.
