Details On WWE Star’s Role In Upcoming Movie

More details have emerged on WWE star Chelsea Green’s upcoming movie role, with Green discussing her character in the film.

Green previously indicated that she had landed a movie role, taking to Twitter in November to note that she had been filming in her home country of Canada.

Speaking on the Lightweights podcast, Green has confirmed that she was in Ontario, Canada in November to shoot for “A Bluegrass Christmas”.

Noting that she plays a country singer in the movie but isn’t actually singing in the film, Green said:

“I actually just filmed a Christmas movie that’s gonna come out this year. So we filmed it in Ontario (Canada). We filmed it in November.

“It might come out this summer. Christmas in July, or might come out for Christmas.

“It’s called ‘A Bluegrass Christmas’. I was a country singer. I don’t sing though. Thank God. Yeah (they had someone sing for me). Nobody needs to hear me sing. I’m telling you, nobody (she laughed).

“Not good. But that is the goal. The goal is definitely to lean more into the acting side of things.”

The movie is listed on IMDb with Marco Deufemia directing and Chris Dowling credited as the writer.
