Another WWE NXT Name Pitched For Main Roster Revealed

Another WWE NXT name who has been pitched for a move to the main roster following a recent release has been revealed.

WWE released six wrestlers from their contract back on April 19, which included NXT star Von Wagner.

Wagner was under a main roster contract due to being called up as a free agent in the 2023 WWE Draft, with him making no appearances on Raw or SmackDown since.

Wagner had been partnered with Mr. Stone in NXT, and Stone has been working as a producer since Wagner’s release from the brand.

To close out this week’s episode of NXT, General Manager Ava revealed that Roxanne Perez would defend her NXT Women’s Championship against SmackDown’s Chelsea Green on next week’s show.

Following the show, Stone appeared in a digital exclusive with Chelsea, with the two catching up with each other, reuniting their partnership from the brand back in 2020.

In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), Chelsea is a talent that those in NXT have requested to use for ‘quite some time’.

There have also reportedly been pitches to pair Green and Stone back up on the main roster following Wagner’s release.
