WWE NXT Star Reacts To CM Punk Appearing At NXT Deadline

A WWE NXT star has reacted to CM Punk’s likely appearance at NXT Deadline after Shawn Michaels invited Punk to the premium live event.

As referenced in his promo on last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, CM Punk made note that he would be speaking with HBK soon regarding NXT.

In an intriguing online exchange, Shawn Michaels suggested Punk pop by NXT Deadline tonight instead, with even Triple H getting in on the action.

WWE NXT star Javier Bernal reacted on Twitter as well, writing:

“There’s one other straight edge guy on the @WWENXT roster… @CMPunk 👀”

Elsewhere set for the show, Ilja Dragunov defends the NXT Championship against Baron Corbin, Dirty Dominik Mysterio defends the North American Championship against Dragon Lee and a pair of intriguing matches.

Both the men’s and women’s divisions will host an Iron Survivor Challenge Match for the second time after debuting the stipulation at last year’s NXT Deadline.

The women’s match is set to feature Tiffany Stratton vs. Lash Legend vs. Blair Davenport vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Fallon Henley.

The men’s match is set to see Dijak vs. Trick Williams vs. Josh Briggs vs. Bron Breakker vs. Tyler Bate.

Also set for action, Axiom vs. Nathan Frazer, Carmelo Hayes vs. Lexis King in the latter’s premium live event debut, and Roxanne Perez vs. Kiana James in a steel cage.
