Bed time
Thanks for following our live report of Raw. Let us know what you thought of it on Twitter here.
Feel free to follow me at @hornsbloggle, but most of all, have a lovely night.
See you tomorrow for SmackDown Live, and don’t forget to stay SWAFT.
4.08am
Corbin and Owens pick up the win after the former hits Balor with the end of days.
Actually quite liking Corbin’s new gimmick and look, but it’s not enough to mask what in truth was a bad show.
3.46am
Seth Rollins promises to take his title back in a rematch against Ziggler next week.
Meanwhile, it’s time for our main event on Finn Balor and Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens.
3.34am
Mojo wins. Fine.
I’ve had more interesting heartburn.
3.30am
This has been a pretty bad show, and a Mojo Rawley vs No Way Jose match will not help.
3.19am
Yep.
Lashley pins Dash Wilder after hitting a much better spear than Roman usually does.
3.07am
Multi-person match at Extreme Rules to decide the number one contender for the Universal Championship.
Revival about to be squashed by Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns.
2.55am
Sasha and Bayley lose…obviously.
And then they push each other. I swear I’ve seen this exact segment 97 times.
2.48am
Bayley and Sasha vs Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan.
Cole informs us that Logan grew up on a potato farm, because this feud wasn’t thrilling enough already.
2.36am
Jinder Mahal squashes Chad Gable.
If you’re going to squash, don’t use someone with real talent like Gable.
2.31am
Kurt announces he’ll be making an announcement later in the evening as per Stephanie McMahon’s instructions.
Announ-ception.
2.22am
Matt and Bray squash Slater and Rhyno.
However, before the match started, Axel and Dallas, the B-Team, mock the promo style of the Deleter of Worlds brilliantly. I like these two more every week.
2.14am
Sasha and Bayley are still feuding…WHY?!
2.05am
Braun Strowman comes out to far less of a pop than I was expecting. He calls winning the contract the best achievement of his time in the company.
Out comes Kevin Owens to ‘congratulate’ Braun. Owens offers him advice in his pursuit of the title.
Strowman (obviously) tries to powerslam Owens but he escapes. Pretty pointless stuff.
1.56am
A 30 second match. Roode wins. Losing streak at 204.
Poor Curt.
1.52am
Bobby Roode comes out in his loveliest red robe, and it looks like he will be facing Curt Hawkins.
To be honest, Roode has lost as often as Hawkins this year.
1.44am
What did I tell you?
Dolph Ziggler beats Seth Rollins to win the Intercontinental Championship.
Well, that really puts that cat amongst the pigeons. What next for Seth? And will this open the door for Drew to turn on Dolph?
1.27am
Dolph Ziggler, accompanied to the ring by Drew McIntyre, answers the IC Title Open challenge.
Should be a very fun match, but who will pick up the win?
1.23am
Why do I think Seth isn’t walking out of Raw as champion?
1.16am
Ronda is suspended for 30 days by Kurt Angle. Does that mean she’s missing Extreme Rules which is in 27 days?
Good to see they’re booking her like a badass.
1.11am
Ronda goes insane, attacking Alexa, Kurt and referees.
Alexa goes through a table, so what now? I’m assuming she’ll be sacked and we’ll never see her again.
1.07am
Kurt and Alexa, I was sort of right I guess.
Apparently everyone is a bully…but here comes Ronda.
1.ooam
Here we go!
Who will open the show? Kurt Angle? Roman Reigns? Kurt Angle? Roman Reigns?
Four good choices, but given what happened last night, I think it may well be Alexa or Braun.
Welcome SWAFT Nation to our live reporting for Monday Night Raw.
Tonight we’ll see what’s next for new Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Mr Money in the Bank, Braun Strowman.
As always there are plenty of questions to be answered.
- Will Strowman call out Lesnar again?
- Will Ronda get her revenge on Alexa?
- Will WWE remember they have a tag division?
All that and more in store in the next three hours or so.
You can also following @hornsbloggle’s live tweeting during the show. He talks a lot of nonsense but it’s mildly entertaining now and then!
Enjoy the show!
