Corbin and Owens pick up the win after the former hits Balor with the end of days.

Actually quite liking Corbin’s new gimmick and look, but it’s not enough to mask what in truth was a bad show.

Seth Rollins promises to take his title back in a rematch against Ziggler next week.

Meanwhile, it’s time for our main event on Finn Balor and Braun Strowman vs Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens.

I’ve had more interesting heartburn.

This has been a pretty bad show, and a Mojo Rawley vs No Way Jose match will not help.

Lashley pins Dash Wilder after hitting a much better spear than Roman usually does.

Multi-person match at Extreme Rules to decide the number one contender for the Universal Championship.

Revival about to be squashed by Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns.

And then they push each other. I swear I’ve seen this exact segment 97 times.

Cole informs us that Logan grew up on a potato farm, because this feud wasn’t thrilling enough already.

Jinder Mahal squashes Chad Gable.

If you’re going to squash, don’t use someone with real talent like Gable.

Kurt announces he’ll be making an announcement later in the evening as per Stephanie McMahon’s instructions.

However, before the match started, Axel and Dallas, the B-Team, mock the promo style of the Deleter of Worlds brilliantly. I like these two more every week.

Sasha and Bayley are still feuding…WHY?!

Braun Strowman comes out to far less of a pop than I was expecting. He calls winning the contract the best achievement of his time in the company.

Out comes Kevin Owens to ‘congratulate’ Braun. Owens offers him advice in his pursuit of the title.

Strowman (obviously) tries to powerslam Owens but he escapes. Pretty pointless stuff.

A 30 second match. Roode wins. Losing streak at 204.

Poor Curt.

Bobby Roode comes out in his loveliest red robe, and it looks like he will be facing Curt Hawkins.

To be honest, Roode has lost as often as Hawkins this year.

Dolph Ziggler beats Seth Rollins to win the Intercontinental Championship.

Well, that really puts that cat amongst the pigeons. What next for Seth? And will this open the door for Drew to turn on Dolph?

Dolph Ziggler, accompanied to the ring by Drew McIntyre, answers the IC Title Open challenge.

Should be a very fun match, but who will pick up the win?

Good to see they’re booking her like a badass.

Alexa goes through a table, so what now? I’m assuming she’ll be sacked and we’ll never see her again.

Who will open the show? Kurt Angle? Roman Reigns? Kurt Angle? Roman Reigns?

Four good choices, but given what happened last night, I think it may well be Alexa or Braun.

Welcome SWAFT Nation to our live reporting for Monday Night Raw.

Tonight we’ll see what’s next for new Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Mr Money in the Bank, Braun Strowman.

As always there are plenty of questions to be answered.

• Will WWE remember they have a tag division?
