WWE Champion Makes Bold Promise Ahead Of SmackDown WWE

WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY has made a bold promise ahead of her match against Charlotte Flair on tonight’s SmackDown.

The Damage CTRL member will be facing Flair on the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown with the pair last having crossed paths on screen at Fastlane on October 7, 2023.

At that premium live event, SKY defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair to retain the championship.

With tonight’s WWE Women’s Championship match, IYO SKY has made a bold claim on Twitter, writing:

“Champion of the sky vs The queen.

“When the match is over, I make the queen bow to me.”

SKY and Flair have faced each other at WWE SuperShow live events over the past few months, quite often with Asuka in the mix, too.

On tonight’s SmackDown, Logan Paul will appear and confront Rey Mysterio having called out the WWE Hall of Famer following the influencer’s fight with Dillon Danis.

The LWO’s Santos Escobar will also face off against Montez Ford.

Tonight also marks the first full night of Nick Aldis as SmackDown General Manager, having been introduced to fans last week.

Aldis was introduced by Triple H, with Adam Pearce being transferred to WWE Raw to serve as GM and Kevin Owens being drafted to the blue brand.
