WWE is seemingly going to pre-tape an upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown in November 2023 as they prepare for a premium live event.
The company returns to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel on November 4, 2023 once again in Riyadh.
With November 4 falling on a Saturday, there is a note regarding the upcoming WWE schedule.
Referring to the SmackDown before Crown Jewel, Dave Meltzer wrote in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:
“A schedule note is that they are running Smackdown and house shows in the U.S. on the weekend of the Saudi Arabia show on 11/4, but not a Smackdown taping.
“It looks like they’ll be doing two Smackdowns in Milwaukee but that some top talent won’t be going to Saudi Arabia as in the past they have not run house shows on the weekend of a Saudi show.”
WWE SmackDown emanates from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on October 27, 2023.
It was recently reported that WWE is “working to secure an appearance” for soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo at Crown Jewel.
