Many WWE NXT stars made their way up to the main roster in the 2023 WWE Draft.
Among all the draft picks, many looked at Grayson Waller’s move to SmackDown as the best pick of the bunch.
However, since Waller has been on the blue brand, he has yet to wrestle on the show, only appearing as the host of the Grayson Waller Effect talk show.
On Twitter today, Waller shared an update, noting that he ‘broke his leg’ during his last match in NXT against Carmelo Hayes, which explains his in-ring absence.
Waller continued to heel up on the fans, noting that a one-legged Grayson Waller is more value than most other wrestlers, and that he’s shared the ring with some of the biggest stars in wrestling.
When addressing his future, Waller said he had ‘good news and bad news’. The bad news was that he wasn’t going to tell us when he would make his return, but noted that we would get an answer ‘very soon’.
Waller is set to host the Grayson Waller Effect with Logan Paul on this week’s SmackDown show in London.
