WWE Star Fires Shots At Choice Of Participants For Upcoming Tournament WWE

A WWE star has fired shots the choice of participants for an upcoming tournament for a future shot at the NXT Heritage Cup Championship.

Perhaps this NXT star will be joining the field soon but for the time being he has shared his thoughts on the booking of the upcoming NXT Global Heritage Invitational!

Taking to Twitter to question one announcement in particular, noted Good Old Boy Brooks Jensen seemed befuddled about Charlie Dempsey representing America in the invitational.

Jensen writing:

“So instead of the ass kicking country loving All American Boy representing America… we get Willy Wonka??? #WWENXT”

There has been no additional information provided as to why Dempsey would be representing the United States in the invitational as WWE has previously announced him as being from Blackpool, England (which is the hometown of his father William Regal) adding to the intrigue.

Among the post’s likes, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo from the D’Angelo family so who knows who we may see still added to the Global Heritage Invitational!

Already announced for Group A, two English representatives in the form of Tyler Bate and Butch, and for Group B, Scotland’s Joe Coffey and Australia’s Duke Hudson.

Now two more competitors have been announced with Charlie Dempsey representing the United States in Group A, and Nathan Frazer representing the Channel Islands in Group B.

According to the previously announced rules, this leaves one vacant spot in each group as yet to be announced to make two groups of four.

The two group winners after a round robin stage will compete in a final, and the winner of that will challenge Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup at NXT No Mercy.
