WWE Star Removed From Roster WWE

A WWE star has been removed from the active section of the official public roster page, instead being moved into the alumni section.

UPDATE – Clarification has emerged on whether tonight’s Ridge Holland announcement was ‘real’ or a storyline – click here for the latest.

On tonight’s episode of WWE NXT there was an in-ring segment from Ridge Holland in which he announced he was stepping away from in-ring action, indefinitely.

After the segment aired on television, the official current WWE roster page has been updated to remove Ridge Holland.

He is instead listed under Alumni.

On tonight’s show, Holland referenced wishing to do what was best for his mental health and in support of his roles as father and husband.

While it has not been further confirmed whether or not Holland’s apparent departure is ‘in storyline’ or is rather a genuine development for the former Rugby star, we’ll keep you updated in the event Holland issues further comments.

Ridge Holland (real name Luke Menzies) signed with WWE in May 2018, debuting at a live event later in July. He would go on to be featured on NXT UK and NXT before being called up the main roster.

Holland most notably appeared on WWE SmackDown alongside Sheamus and Butch (who has now resumed his former moniker, Pete Dunne) as the stable, the Brawling Brutes from 2021 to 2023.
