Four-time WWE Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has been out of action since September, but the date for her return has seemingly been confirmed by WWE.
WWE.com is advertising Banks for the Saturday, October 20 live event in Portland, Maine, and the arena that will host Raw the following Monday is promoting her for that show too.
WWE have gone into no detail regarding the “injury” that Sasha is suffering from, but Barnburner‘s No Holds Barred podcast reported that it is actually a “mental break” as opposed to a physical recovery.
The ‘Legit Boss’ was pulled from the Mixed Match Challenge, with Mickie James replacing her as Bobby Lashley’s partner. She was also recently pulled from MTV’s Ridiculousness show, and was replaced by current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch.
If Banks does return on the date advertised, she will be be back in time for Evolution, and will have one episode of Raw to set up a match for the event. Banks’ tag team partner as part of the Boss ‘N Hug Connection, Bayley, has been keeping herself occupied by teaming with MMC partner Finn Bálor over the last few weeks, so it is unclear where the two will pick up from on Sasha’s return.
