AEW Executive Vice Presidents the Young Bucks defeated the Lucha Bros. for the AAA Tag Team Championships at the Rey de Reyes show last night.
First, Pentagón and Fénix won the belts from Rey Escorpion and El Texano Jr. in the advertised main event, but celebrations were cut short by the lights fading to black. When they came back on, a certain two Jackson brothers were stood in the ring.

An impromptu title bout followed, with the Bucks picking up the win and the title with the Meltzer Driver.
Fellow AEW VP Cody had appeared earlier in the show for an interview segment, where he explained that as part of AEW’s relationship with AAA, he aimed to provide Mexican fans with appearances from stars such as Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega.
Of course, the Young Bucks and the Lucha Bros. will square off again at AEW Double or Nothing on May 25.
