Reports surfaced last month that NXT star Kacy Catanzaro had left WWE due to a back injury, and she has now been removed from WWE.com.
Despite the reports, came to light that she was still under contract to WWE at the time.
Furthermore, her boyfriend Ricochet confirmed in an interview that she was still with company, and wasn’t injured:
“She’s still with the company. She’s not retired at all and she’s not injured. It’s a tough sport and we’re all hurting, but there is nothing wrong with her.”
Despite that, the former United States Champion did seem a bit sceptical when asked if Catanzaro would ever wrestle again:
“I don’t know. She’s very family-oriented and she wants kids, so she doesn’t know if being on the road so much is for her. For me, I’m already too deep—I’m on the road all the time. She loves wrestling and she loves it here, and she’s so good at it, so it’s a very tough decision for her.”
The former American Ninja Warrior contestant has made no comment either way, but this is certainly the biggest hint since the original report that she is no longer a member of the WWE roster.
Catanzaro wrestled on NXT TV a few times, but most notably was an entrant in the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble in January.
