One of the most popular acts in All Elite Wrestling at the moment is the Jurassic Express. One of the group’s members is the immensely talented Jungle Boy.
Jungle Boy (real name Jack Perry) is the son of late actor Luke Perry. It seems like Jack is set to be one of AEW’s top stars for years to come.
However, Jungle Boy has revealed that he could have joined WWE. The 22-year-old weighs in at just 150lbs, and he revealed that WWE told him they’d offer him a deal if he managed to gain 30lbs.
Speaking about WWE on Being The Elite, Jungle Boy had the following to say:
“I did some extra work somewhere else, and they basically told me ‘If you put on 30 pounds or whatever we will give you a job.’ The way it is that’s not gonna happen. I was so bummed like it bums me out that that’s the one thing that gets hung up on. Because I know what I can do and I can do a lot of stuff, but I think that there are a lot of guys who are way bigger than me and they’re not as good and it feels so good to get hung up on it.”
Do you think Jungle Boy would be better suited to WWE or AEW? Let us know in the comments.
