NBA star Enes Kanter made an appearance on Raw last year where he became 24/7 Champion. Clearly the moment made an impact on him as he has now said he plans to pursue wrestling when his basketball career is over.
Kanter made the revelation during an interview with NBA Insider Shams Charania. Here is the tweet and full quote:
Celtics center @EnesKanter told our NBA Insider @ShamsCharania he has been offered WWE deal and plans to accept after career.
Kanter also discussed his public approach with his native Turkey, Russell Westbrook's policy for opponents and more. pic.twitter.com/gOvZhfYGae

“I’m definitely becoming a WWE wrestler. I actually already have the offers from WWE. I’m like ‘dude, I need to finish my basketball career first.’ After my career, I’m definitely becoming one.”
Kanter currently plays Center for the Boston Celtics. Prior to the shutdown of the NBA, the team was in third place in the Eastern Conference behind the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.
He has confirmed that he has received offers from WWE but remains focused on his basketball career. It seems likely that WWE fans will see Kanter again. Maybe he will get another reign with the 24/7 Championship. He won the title last September in Madison Square Garden by pinning R-Truth. Kanter then revealed his Celtics jersey to get heat from the New York crowd.
