Former WWE star and former NXT UK Tag Team Champion James Drake has sent a message ahead of his AEW debut.
On April 25, All Elite Wrestling shocked many fans when they announced that former WWE stars James Drake and Zack Gibson of the Grizzled Young Veterans will make their debut on this Saturday’s April 27 episode of AEW Collision.
The former NXT duo will face former AEW World Tag Team and World Trios Champions The Acclaimed’s Max Caster and Anthony Bowens.
Ahead of his AEW debut, James Drake took to social media to promote his match on Collision. He wrote:

Since departing WWE at the end of their contracts in October 2023, the GYV have competed both in the United States and back in their native England – most notably making several appearances for TNA Wrestling.
Also announced for this Saturday’s show, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland will have his first interview as champion and Bullet Club Gold will face Action Andretti and Top Flight for the AEW Unified Trios Championships.
