WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has commented on a top star’s ‘aura’ following Backlash France.
WWE Backlash took place in Lyon, France this past Saturday, with the crowd in Lyon being considered among the very best in the history of the company.
One of the WWE stars who got an incredible ovation on the show was Jey Uso, who had the crowd bouncing up and down with the lights from their phones on.
While Jey ultimately came up short in his attempt to wrestle the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest thanks to interference from JD McDonagh and Finn Balor, his entrance was all most fans wanted to talk about.
Following the show, the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers played Jey’s theme song at their game, with the DJ encouraging the fans in attendance to bounce in tune to the music akin to Jey.
Reacting to the clip from the game on Twitter, Triple H commented on Jey’s aura, saying:
All the way from #WWEBacklash France to the @NBA… Jey Uso’s aura always translates.
