There has been an update on Ricky Starks’ status in All Elite Wrestling following a recent absence from AEW television.
UPDATE: Ricky Starks tweeted that he was being checked by the AEW medical team “because everyone had to do their annual physical”.
Starks has been out of action since the March 30 episode of AEW Collision, when he and Big Bill were defeated by Top Flight in the AEW World Tag Team Championship tournament.
Starks suffered an injury during the match, which led to an impromptu finish, with Darius Martin pinning Starks to advance in the tournament.
Following the show, Starks took to Instagram to provide an immediate update on his injury, saying:
I’m all good, everything checked out fine. Was being precautious.
In an update on Starks’ status today from PWInsider, while Starks did not appear on AEW television last week in Jacksonville, Florida, he was present in the city, where he was being checked out by the AEW medical team.
We will provide any updates on Starks’ status as they become available.
During Starks’ absence, his partner Big Bill is seemingly set to join up with Chris Jericho and the ‘Learning Tree’.
