‘Who Gives A S**t Anymore?’ – WWE Star Reacts To Disappointing Defeat WWE

Ricochet isn’t heading to the King of the Ring finals in Saudi Arabia on May 25, having lost to Ilja Dragunov on the May 6 episode of WWE Raw.

With Dragunov having been called up from NXT during the 2024 WWE Draft, he’s currently two matches into his Raw run and remains undefeated.

In the wake of his loss, Ricochet took to Twitter to post an apology to fans, tweeting:

“I lost… again. I’m sorry guys.”

In comments made after the match, Ricochet reflected on his record in WWE as asking “honestly, who gives a s**t anymore”, saying:

“Here we find ourselves, in a very familiar spot. It seems no matter what I do – I can train, I can challenge myself, I can give everything I’ve got, but it seems that it’s never enough.

“It’s never enough. Not when it counts. It’s never enough. So I find myself in this position, almost every fu… Almost every week, I find myself in this position.

“Something’s gotta change.”

Dijak recently described Ricochet as “literally the best high flyer in history” and “one of the greatest in ring talents” that he’s “ever seen or wrestled.”

AEW’s Will Ospreay has also tweeted about a potential rematch with Ricochet, with the pair having last crossed paths in 2017.

Ricochet is the current WWE Speed champion, having defeated Johnny Gargano in the tournament to crown the inaugural champion.
