So, weeks like this one cause a lot of division in the world. Being in the WWE or WWE Hall of Fame doesn’t prevent you from being a part of the conversation or even from facing criticism from the public when you make comments that seem controversial or insensitive.
WWE Hall of Famer Sunny has taken to Twitter tonight and she is taking a lot of heat from the entirety of the social media platform for her comments. While many people have expressed support for protestors and condemned the looting and damaging of property that is also happening, there’s a way to go about it and then there’s a way to not.
Sunny had this to say on Twitter:

If you read the next hour or so of replies, you’ll find that Sunny doesn’t see anything wrong with her turn of phrase in the above comment.
It’s hard to give her the benefit of the doubt when you read the rest of her replies. She at one point even uses the #whitepower. While I think she was being sarcastic or, at least, attempting to be. The stream of nastiness spewing from her account is hard to accept.
Then there was this one:

While we have no way of knowing what Sunny meant after the word N, Sunny has used that word on Twitter before. Back in 2016, she was involved in an incident on Twitter where she used the n-word when tweeting a friend.
The story could continue for pages. She argued about the definition of criminal and claimed spending time in jail for DUI’s doesn’t make you a criminal. I guess getting convicted for breaking the law doesn’t make you a criminal in her mind.
I’m not out there looting and setting things on fire. A DUI doesn’t make you a criminal

One thing is for sure, in times like these, we need more positivity and less of this stuff. It’s just a shame and goes to prove the need for folks to protest.
