This week on Monday Night Raw, AJ Styles defeated Riddle and Keith Lee in a great three-way match. In doing so, Styles earned a WWE Championship match against Drew McIntyre at TLC later this month.
Originally, WWE advertised the title bout as a straight-up singles match, but it appears as if something has changed as the match will now being advertised on WWE.com as a Tables Ladders and Chairs match.
This isn’t the only TLC match that’s going to be taking place at the pay-per-view, as Kevin Owens is also set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in the gimmick match later this month.
Drew McIntyre has often spoken to the media about his desire to face AJ Styles, often describing the pair as like “ships passing in the night”. The pair haven’t had a televised singles match inside a WWE ring.
WWE has now announced the following matches for the TLC pay-per-view event that is set to take place on Sunday 20 December from Tropicana Field
