The talk of the wrestling world over the past week has been the newly formed working relationship between AEW and Impact Wrestling, which was introduced when Don Callis helped Kenny Omega win the AEW Championship from Jon Moxley on last week’s Dynamite.
Omaga appeared on last night’s Impact show, and teased challenging for their world title, and then promised a big announcement on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.
However, it seems that not everyone is excited to see where the AEW/Impact relationship is going, as former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas revealed he doesn’t understand why AEW is bothering to work with Impact at all.
As you can see in the below video, Korderas questions AEW’s motives in working with Impact, saying:
“I’m still questioning what good this does AEW other than to make them look good in the eyes of diehard wrestling fans that they are helping other promotions. Other than that, I don’t see the value for AEW.”

Korderas left WWE in 2009 and had a brief stint with Ring of Honor in 2012.
