Some more news has come to light regarding the injury that MVP seemed to sustain during his match on this past Monday’s episode of WWE Raw.
PWInsider is reporting that MVP went to Birmingham, Alabama yesterday (Tuesday, February 16), which basically confirms the injury is legitimate.
The Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama is often where WWE talent will go when they need evaluating for a potential injury, so that’s indicative of the fact that it could be pretty serious.
He seemed to tweak his leg during the match and was on crutches during Raw Talk on the WWE Network after the show.
MVP did take to Twitter after the match and wrote that he was on one good leg after a user criticised his performance.
The match saw Riddle and the Lucha House Party beat MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin in six-man tag team action.
We’ll provide any updates as they become available and wish MVP the best with his recovery.
