The reason why WWE has reportedly removed former WWE Champion Batista from the Hall of Fame has been revealed, courtesy of Fightful Select.
The site is reporting that the decision to not have Batista go into the Hall of Fame next month, as is the plan for all of the other 2020 inductees, is down to the fact that there will be no fans at the show.
The report notes that WWE wants to induct Batista into the Hall of Fame “when a full crowd can enjoy it”, which rules him out of getting inducted this year.
Batista has not appeared on WWE television since losing to Triple H at WrestleMania 35 in 2019. Following the show, Batista confirmed that this was going to be his final match.
