After teasing a big announcement on Twitter earlier today, WWE has announced that the Andre The Giant Battle Royal will return this year. However, this time it will not take place at WrestleMania, but rather on SmackDown the night before.
They also announced the participants for the battle royal as well as a Fatal 4-Way match for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Here is the announcement:

The Andre The Giant Battle Royal was cut from WrestleMania last year as a result of the pandemic. This marked the first time the match was not held since its inception in 2014.

The participants for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship match have not been announced as of this writing. However, if the last few weeks of SmackDown are anything to go by, Rey and Dominik Mysterio, the Street Profits, Otis and Chad Gable, and Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode are all likely to be involved.
