WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has discussed a recent backstage WWE layoff, revealing his experience with the name.
It has previously been reported that a number of backstage names were recently given their marching orders. Among these names was John Cone, who was reportedly relieved of his Senior Manager of Talent Relations role.
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has now discussed his thoughts on this decision. Taking to Twitter to note his respect for Cone, Foley stated that he enjoyed working with Cone while he was performing this role.
Foley tagged Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Vince McMahon in his tweet, asking WWE to reconsider this decision.
Explaining that he thought Cone did a good job, Foley tweeted:
“Personally, I thought John Cone did a very good job as Senior Manager of Talent Relations for@WWE. I thoroughly enjoyed working with John on many occasions over the past several years. Maybe the company will rethink that decision.@TripleH@StephMcMahon@VinceMcMahon.“
