AEW opened ticket sales today for the September 22, 2021 Dynamite in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Based on the early returns, PWInsider is reporting that it is expected that this show will easily set the record for the highest attended AEW: Dynamite in history.
According to the report, there are just a handful of single seats left on the lower level. Any groupings of tickets left at this point are in the upper deck.
Arthur Ashe stadium holds 22,000 for tennis. However, the initial release of tickets for AEW was 17,000 based on the initial configuration.
According to the report, AEW actually opened up more tickets than originally planned based on demand. Both AEW and the stadium are said to be thrilled with the sales.
Some are even suggesting AEW should make the show 3 hours because of the sales. Let us know your thoughts.
