AEW has officially announced that Maxwell Jacob Friedman will be in action on next week’s (April 13) episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS.
On this week’s show, Wardlow interfered during Shawn Spears’ match with Shawn Dean, allowing Dean to roll up Spears and score the upset victory.
It has now been announced that MJF will step into the ring against The Captain on next week’s episode of Dynamite.
Dean currently holds a disqualification victory over MJF from earlier this year, when CM Punk interfered against Dean, intentionally getting MJF disqualified.
Also, AEW casually announced during last night’s Rampage that Samoa Joe will battle Minoru Suzuki for the ROH TV Championship this Wednesday.
